Purpose of the job

Key Accountabilities

Provide commercial delivery of the following aspects for projects that operate on a lump sum, remeasurable, target cost, or reimbursable basis:
Project cash flow and budget
Contractual terms &amp; conditions (both client and supply chain)
Interim applications in accordance with contract procedures
Change management, in accordance with contract procedures
Negotiation of contract amendments, including review of terms &amp; conditions
Subcontract account management, including review of interim applications, preparation of payment certificates, management and assessment of potential changes, and final accounting upon completion
Preparation of internal cost / commercial reports, including accurate margin forecasting
Compliance with all relevant Health &amp; Safety regulations&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications and Experience
·        Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or in a related subject (candidates with appropriate experience may be considered)
·        5+ years of experience in quantity surveying in the engineering or construction industry
·        Good working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (particularly Options C &amp; E)
·        Demonstrable experience of successfully carrying out Quantity Surveying duties on multiple engineering and/or construction projects
·        Excellent oral and written communication skills
·        Ability to build strong relationships with project teams, clients, and the supply chain
·        Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
·        PC literate in the Microsoft Office suite

·        Proficient in the use of the CEMAR Contract Management System

LTQR and Records Management
Assist in ensuring the deployment of key contractual quality requirements (e.g. GQAS, LTQR Specification, Quality Release Certificates) in accordance with the PQCP;

 Description of the assignment

The Associate Director – NEC Project Manager is responsible for the contractual management of the Independent Assurance Framework and associated assurance service providers. The role acts as the Client’s NEC Project Manager, ensuring all assurance contracts are administered effectively, consistently and in accordance with contractual requirements, enabling assurance activities to be delivered without contractual impediment.
The role:
Act as NEC Project Manager for assurance contracts across the CWP Independent Assurance Framework.
Administer contracts in accordance with NEC processes, ensuring all actions are issued within required timescales.
Manage compensation events, early warnings, programme submissions, contract changes and contractual correspondence to defined timelines.
Maintain auditable contract records and ensure contractual compliance across all suppliers, likely via CEMAR.
Ensure contractual obligations are consistently applied across multiple assurance providers and commissions.
Develop and implement proportionate contract management processes, procedures and guidance supporting Phase 2 assurance delivery.
Establish clear interfaces between the Independent Assurance Team, SZC Commercial Team and assurance suppliers.Define roles, responsibilities and governance arrangements required for effective contract administration.

We’re looking for a Technical Queries Process Lead to support the Request for Information (RFI) and Field Change Request (FCR) processes documented in project. The Role:
