Since 2011, NUVIA Nordic has been a trusted partner of the Nordic nuclear industry, with operations mainly in Sweden and Finland. They provide specialised service solutions in mechanical maintenance and installation, radiological protection, waste management, decontamination, engineering consultancy and product supply.

As part of the decommissioning of the Ringhals nuclear power plant, we are recruiting a Works Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract.
 
You will be responsible for the operational follow‑up of the activities assigned to you, relating to the needs for specific equipment, its design, its installation and its commissioning on site.
Your responsibilities will include preparing design drawings, managing technical exchanges with suppliers for manufacturing, as well as overseeing installation and commissioning of dedicated equipment (decontamination systems, cutting areas, elevators, etc.).

As the company’s representative on site, you will be responsible for:
Designing the required equipment;
Steering the works and managing our teams on site;
Maintaining direct relationship management with the client;
Monitoring subcontracted activities;
Defining and validating execution methods, in collaboration with our engineering teams;
Preparing and organising the works for which you are responsible;
Ensuring proper application of Safety rules;
Closing and handover of works&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
We are looking for a Works/Project Engineer (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in site supervision within a nuclear facility.
 The role requires someone comfortable using SolidWorks for mechanical design, and fluent in English.
 We also expect a professional capable of interacting easily with various stakeholders (supervisors, technical teams, planning, subcontractors…), demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, rigour and autonomy.
 This position requires a strong ability to adapt, solid practical sense, and the willingness to be proactive when facing challenges.&lt;br /&gt;
