To provide safety guidance and support to operational teams on a variety of projects in the UK, including joint ventures and major projects
· Carry out site audits and inspections to ensure compliance to approved methodology, procedures and legislative requirements
· Work pro-actively with site staff and Operations team to provide safety advice and resolve safety issues
· Write reports and recommendations for corrective actions and submit to QSE Manager for review
· To review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements as delegated by QSE Manager
· Work with pre-construction teams developing safe systems of work
· Carry out COSHH assessments
· Carry out site safety inductions as required
· Undertake near miss and minor accident investigations
· To attend and actively participate in project handover and closeout meetings as required
· To liaise with the Principal Contractor safety team as required (on larger projects)
· Participate in JV partner and client meetings (where applicable)
· Assist as required in undertaking random D&amp;A testing in site locations
· Delivery of safety related training
· To carry out face fit testing
· Other reasonable duties as required within the remit of the H&amp;S Advisor role

Note that the role will require travel to different project locations&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
· NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum and appropriate IOSH membership
· Knowledge of Freyssinet specialist techniques and activities
· Experience of providing safety guidance on large civil engineering projects
· Flexibility to travel to different project sites, including ‘resident’ positions on longer duration projects&lt;br /&gt;

Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide onsite Health, Safety and Environmental support on the Protos Carbon Capture Project. 

Key Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:
You will undertake site HS&amp;E inspections on construction and rail projects
You report directly to the northern operations team with functional support from the Health, Safety &amp; Environment Director
Providing direct assistance in the preparation, development, maintenance and implementation of the existing Health, Safety and Wellbeing management systems
Work in accordance with site hours or as directed by the line manager
You should have a full clean driving license with the willingness to travel. You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is maintained and fit to use at all times on the public highway
You will conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, leading by example, promoting a positive culture and give factual and correct advice or guidance to others
You are required to maintain your continual professional development
You will advise office managers or nominated staff on statutory requirements relating to the maintenance and management of company owned or leased premises
Advise on all matters pertaining to the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site (including visitors and contractors) as well as ensuring the company meets its moral and legal responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety
Interpret legislative requirements, as well as sector, national and international standards, with the ability to incorporate into company processes, procedures and policies, and communicate to the requirements to the senior management and workforce
You must report any Health and Safety related issues that require management action immediately for resolution
Suggest, communicate and promote initiatives for accident prevention and improvement opportunities
Implement the requirements of the Health and Safety Policies and Integrated Management System
Be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace, working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner, assisting in maintaining safety within the workplace
Support Project Teams to achieve company and client expectations with regard to Health and Safety on Risk Assessment, Method Statements, Toolbox Talks, Evacuation Plans, Fire Plans, Work Package Plans, Emergency Plans, and the Safety training of operatives
Attend Client Health and Safety meetings and develop &amp; maintain strong relationships client teams
Produce management reports, newsletters and bulletins
Assist with accident and incident investigations
Ensure the Company’s core values are embedded in all decisions made and shape your behaviour

Physical Working Environment:
Site based role.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
 Required
Experience in this role while working for a ground engineering or civil engineering contractor
NEBOSH Construction Certificate, Tech IOSH Status or MIIRSM, and CSCS qualified

Formal Accident Investigation training

Responsabilidades principales
Supervisar trabajos en alturas, vialidades, andamios, espacios confinados, izajes de estructuras y uso de herramientas eléctricas y maquinaria menor.
Dar seguimiento a la implementación del plan de seguridad y revisar signos vitales del personal.
Impartir capacitaciones internas y brindar atención de primeros auxilios.
Elaborar permisos de trabajo y participar en la elaboración de procedimientos.
Cargar documentación en plataformas de clientes y atender supervisiones externas.
Coordinar equipos de bandereros y cuadrillas en temas de seguridad.


Contrato: Temporal (6 meses, con posibilidad de ampliación).
Ubicación: Tula Hidalgo
Sueldo: $10,000 a $15,000 mensuales brutos.
Disponibilidad: Para trabajar en campo y realizar recorridos en obra.

Idioma: Español (inglés básico).
