30253-124917 - Estimating Manager M/F

Profissão : REALIZAÇÃO / OBRAS / CONDUÇÃO DE PROJETOS/Condutor / engenheiro de obras
Contrato : Contrato sem prazo fixo
Descrição do emprego :
New Zealand is investing heavily in resilient, future‑focused infrastructure—and Marlborough is at the centre of one of the country’s most significant regional redevelopment programmes. This multi‑year, large‑scale initiative is now moving from planning into delivery, with early works already underway. The programme represents a rare chance to join a project at its inception, where real progress is being made on the ground and where your expertise will directly influence long‑term outcomes for the region and for Aotearoa as a whole.
Designed to strengthen economic growth, improve community resilience, and upgrade critical infrastructure, this programme will shape the future of Marlborough for decades. For international professionals seeking meaningful work in a stable, safe, and forward‑looking country, this is an opportunity to contribute to a project of national importance while enjoying the lifestyle benefits that New Zealand is known for.
As part of the global VINCI Construction network, HEB Construction delivers complex, high‑value civil infrastructure across New Zealand—from iconic bridges and marine structures to major pipelines, geotechnical systems, and advanced precast solutions. Our Structures team leads some of the country’s most technically challenging projects, backed by the resources, innovation, and global expertise of one of the world’s largest construction groups.
We are now seeking a people‑focused Estimating Manager to lead our estimating function through its next chapter. This is your opportunity to bring international best practice, shape strategy, and contribute to a programme that carries national visibility and long‑term impact.

As a site based Estimating Manager, on one of Marlborough's most significant revelopment initiatives, you’ll lead talented Estimators and bid professionals, steering the strategy, accuracy, and performance of our project pricing. Your work directly shapes the project and the legacy we build.

In this role, you will:
Develop early bid strategy and ensure every tender is transparent, innovative, and commercially sound.
Drive accuracy, governance, and quality across all project estimates.
Build strong relationships with clients, partners, designers and internal teams.
Champion constructability, safety, and intelligent risk management from day one.
Influence HEB’s position in the market and contribute to the future of our Structures division.
This is your chance to step into a pivotal leadership role where your strategic thinking, commercial sharpness, and collaboration skills will make a real difference.
About you
You’re an experienced senior estimator or pre‑contracts leader who brings:
10+ years in civil infrastructure estimating, ideally with Structures and/or marine experience.
Strength in leading teams, shaping culture, and building capability.
Excellent commercial judgement with a passion for first‑principles estimating, preferably in CCS.
The ability to collaborate, influence and communicate with clarity.
A positive, people‑centred approach that aligns with our values: Open, Real, Together, Care, Deliver.

Most importantly, you’re someone who wants to contribute meaningfully - to your team, to our clients, and to the infrastructure Aotearoa relies on.
Cidade : Picton, New Zealand
