What you will do:
You will coordinate and manage the issuance and tracking of H&amp;S work permits for all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with project teams to anticipate permit needs and resolve issues efficiently.


Concretely, your tasks will be:
Manage the full process for issuing work permits (hot work, excavation, ground disturbance, Log Out Tag Out, lifitng ...) on BeSafe.
Conduct regular audits of work permits and related documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Construction, H&amp;S, Quality, and Planning teams to anticipate upcoming work permits needs.
Review project documentation (drawings, diagrams, reports, contracts) to determine permits and approval requirements.
Identify potential issues that could delay work and propose/implement mitigation measures.
Act as a key interface between field teams and management, ensuring work is authorized, coordinated, and safely executed.

Your skills:
Electrical or Mechanical trade background (electrical preferred due to work protection complexity).
Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in supervisory or superintendent roles.
Strong, hands‑on expertise in work permit systems and solid functional knowledge of HSE requirements.
Experience managing permits on complex and high‑risk projects, ideally involving tunneling, major construction, confined spaces, or subaqueous environments.

What you will do:
The Superintendent will provide on-site coordination of all construction activities while ensuring the proper implementation of safety protocols. They will collaborate with stakeholders across the project to ensure key milestones are met and maintain accurate records of construction activities and costs.
Concretely, your tasks will be:
Supervise subcontractor teams within the area of control
Ensure that HSE is always guaranteed by enforcing a safe work environment, implementing and monitoring safety protocols, and conducting regular safety inspections to prevent accidents and mitigate risks

As a Civil Works Superintendent on the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will schedule, coordinate, and supervise production and workforce engaged on your assigned area of the project.
The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP), consisting of Flatiron, Dragados USA, and VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA, has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project –the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The project scope across a 9-mile section of I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing to accommodate 8 lanes across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges, and the addition of a third lane in each direction on I-64. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels are bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America. The project is expected to continue to the end of 2027.

Supervises assigned project work and liaises between field engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure
project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews
daily work schedule with direct reports, and provides input for weekly/monthly schedule updates based on
project feedback.
Reviews and understands the project specifications to support job setup activities. Works with work crews,
field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on the job site.
Presents production work plan during initial project meeting to ensure all project crews and leaders are in
alignment.
Coordinates with the internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure that the project is equipped with
appropriate equipment and material quantities to complete production within the assigned budget and
schedule.
Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling support
recommendations to mitigate production issues.
Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks, including construction methods, work plan, material requirements, safety, and schedule activities. Documents daily activities and meeting notes using
Company-approved document methods.
Coordinates with internal and external departments to ensure all mandated inspections are completed
within the requested timeframes.
Supports and promotes strict adherence to safety and process controls regarding operating equipment,
worksite safety and documentation requirements.
Supervises subcontractor production and workforce regarding assigned project work. Recommends work
schedule or work-method adjustments regarding subcontractor activities, as needed.

Provide training and support for NCR/CA and ETF processes; monitor analysis and follow up on progress
Material &amp; Equipment
Review Material Approval Requests (MAR) and ensure compliance
Verify calibration and readiness of measuring equipment for site, survey, and lab operations
Reporting &amp; Coordination
Liaise with QHSE teams; ensure Quality information is available on site
Issue Quality reports, define best practices, and communicate quality alerts across the organization

Your skills:

Project Overview:
As part of the Hampton Roads Connector Partners (HRCP) Joint Venture (JV) consisting of VINCI Construction and FlatironDragados has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project – the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The project scope across a 9-mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America. The project is expected to continue to the beginning of 2027.

Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Engineer specializing in mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of MEP construction. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.
Reviewing vendor drawings, product submittals, and material specs to ensure they comply with complex project requirements and compliance.
Review and track design packages’ status, generates, and follows up with the request for information (RFIs) or field change requests.
Perform quantity take offs for cost estimates, payment applications, and schedule updates.
Conducts construction site inspections to verify that mechanical equipment—such as large compressors, pumps, piping, others are installed correctly, aligned properly, and safely.
Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.
Assist with scheduling, commissioning and site safety inspections.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients in order to define their needs, explain technical information, concepts, or study results.
Interact with subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors – scope development and price solicitations.

Qualifications and Skills:
Required:

What is the project?

The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake in Lake Ontario to improve the plant's cooling system. This will involve:

What you will do:
The Chief Surveyor is accountable for overseeing and managing the surveying team in the collection of monitoring data. Establishing the manual monitoring and supervising the daily survey activities.


Concretely, your tasks will be:
Management of the in tunnel, LU/LO and surface monitoring teams;
Accountable for the accurate acquisition of data;
Collection of all monitoring data in time for daily review;
Accountable for the data programming of the tunnel guidance software;
Liaise with JV SCL Engineering team and the Client in relation to daily monitoring reports for the sites and deal with any associated queries;
Develop junior members of staff within the team;
Attend daily SRG (Shift Review Group) meeting if required and feed back to team as necessary;

Vos missions :

Le/la Chef.fe de chantier assurera la coordination sur site de l’ensemble des activités de construction tout en veillant à la bonne application des protocoles de sécurité. Il/elle collaborera avec les différentes parties prenantes du projet afin de garantir l’atteinte des jalons clés et de maintenir un suivi précis des activités et des coûts de construction.

Concrètement, vos responsabilités seront :
Superviser les équipes des sous-traitants dans votre périmètre d’intervention ;

What is the project?


The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake
Concretely, your tasks will be: 
Reporting to the Project Control Lead, the main duties are to structure and organize the schedule management on the project, to maintain and update the design schedule and to prepare and update the pre-construction and construction activities schedule.

The position will therefore encompass participating in the following:
Weekly and Monthly schedule progress reporting (progress update, weekly/monthly look-ahead)
Develop and coordinate with all department (notably permitting, procurement and construction departments) the development of the execution schedule
Identify scheduling conflicts and incompatibilities with the design and permitting schedule
Progressively baseline the pre-construction and construction schedules of construction early works
Prepare and communicate on the project’s weekly look-ahead schedule
Provide analysis of alternatives and mitigation measures
Act as the reference for all schedule-related matters on the project
 
More specifically, they will be responsible for the following activities:
 
Baseline and reporting:
Establish the project baseline schedule (definition and progressively for execution)
Provide 3-weeks and 3-months look-ahead schedule of activities required to support the project (Definition and Execution) schedule
Prepare, develop and report on schedule KPIs
Identify and analyze risks and their potential impact on the schedule
Organize and perform weekly schedule update and monthly reporting

Preparation of the Execution Phase Schedule of the Project :
Verify and adjust the Execution Phase schedule based on the progress of the design and permitting activities and evolving contractual requirements
Communicate and coordinate with the various project departments the necessary evolutions to the pre-construction and construction activities schedule (Execution Phase Schedule)
Prepare the Execution Phase Baseline Schedule
Participate in risk management activities (identification of risks, incorporation of contingencies in the schedule etc..)
Ensure the schedule is compliant with quality indicators and properly configured for baselining
Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates with the various project departments and provide reporting of evolution and variances
Perform analysis of What-If or alternative scenarios to support decision-making
Coordinate with the estimating, contract and cost control teams to ensure adequacy in the various project forecasts

Skills :

The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) consisting of Flatiron, Dragados USA and VINCI has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project–the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).   
The project scope across a 9-mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America. The project is expected to continue to the end of 2026. 
The CAD Technician will be responsible for supporting the methods engineers and wider engineering and construction teams with AutoCAD and Revit drafting activities. The engineering team will focus on providing value for money through innovative design and an industry leading commitment to safety and sustainability through design.
PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES 
Within the construction engineering department, the CAD Technician specific areas of responsibility are the following: 
Prepare 2D Drawings on AutoCAD and 3D models in Revit: construction sequences, site installation drawings, RC detailed drawings for temporary structures, steel working platforms, formworks, shoring, scaffolding
Perform excavation drawings and extract cut/fill quantities
Perform quantity take-offs, preparation of Bill Of Quantities 
Control drawings of proprietary formwork systems received from external supplier and adapt or modify to suit site conditions 
Adhere to project quality plan and procedures and provide document controller with the necessary information for upload on the Document Management System
Maintain a shared library of blocks and external references with other team members
Regular interaction with other team members from other departments (construction team, surveyors, designers) to understand the requirements and make appropriate CAD actions
Provide the document controller with necessary information for the drawings register and ensure latest revisions of his drawings are available through the Electronic Document Management System

What is the project? :
The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake in Lake Ontario to improve the plant's cooling system. This will involve:
A5 km-long tunnel, built by a pressurized TBM (10.15 m diameter slurry TBM);
Two vertical shafts (onshore and offshore);
An offshore modular intake structure, resting on the lake bed.
The project is distinguished by its proximity to an active nuclear site, requiring rigorous standards of safety, planning and coordination.

What you will do:
You will coordinate and manage the issuance and tracking of H&amp;S work permits for all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with project teams to anticipate permit needs and resolve issues efficiently. Using a system to update installations to be as live with the drawings as possible.

Concretely, your tasks will be:
Manage the full process for issuing H&amp;S work permits (hot work, confined spaces, working at heights, electrical, etc);
Verify that permit requests comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements;
Coordinate with Construction, H&amp;S, Quality, and Planning teams to anticipate upcoming permit needs;

As the Materials Coordination Lead on the $2.9BN Red Line Extension Project (RLE) in Chicago-Illinois, you will be responsible to schedule, review, track, and coordinate the material documentation, including test reports, to demonstrate project conformance with the Contractor’s Quality Management System and Contract requirements relating to permanent materials and materials put into place for temporary use by the CTA.
Responsabilities
Apply the project rules and be proactive in terms of Health and Safety when visiting site or at the office.
Support the implementation of the Quality Assurance &amp; Quality Control Processes on the project, particularly all processes related to the assurance of materials.
Develop, manage, maintain, and supervise material tracking logs.
Coordinate with the construction area managers and the project engineers to ensure materials documentation is received, logged, and uploaded to CTA’s Project Website per contract requirements, including product datasheets, certifications, and other required material submittals outlined in the technical specifications.
Manage the Buy America Build America process.
Review and technically interpret material test results.

Ensure the MIR/MT forms and supporting documents are compiled by the operations staff and report on any delinquent documents.
Review MIR/MT forms for completeness, log and upload to CTA eBuilder site.
Assist with follow-up and close out of material related deficiencies.
Participate in site walks focusing on material delivery, storage, and use.
Participate with project closeout and punch list inspections and project meetings, as needed and as they relate to materials&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
Valid Driving License to drive in the state of Illinois.
Ability to write and review reports, procedure manuals, processes.
Ability to collect and review technical content of materials certificates and associated datasheets.
Well organized, flexible, detail-oriented and multi-tasked.
Knowledge and experience of working to FTA, IDOT, and ASTM standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. · Proficiency in quality management through Document Control Systems.
Ability to gather, analyze, evaluate, and take decisions based on facts.
Can deliver reports in an objective, clear, and comprehensive manner.
Has good interpersonal and communication skills.
Is good at building relationships and can influence effectively.
Can demonstrate initiative and resilience.
Quality subject matter expertise and proven track record in Quality Control
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
Experience relevant to transportation projects would be an asset.
Experience in a similar role, e.g. lab manager, materials technician, etc.… and knowledge of the Buy America Build America requirements would be an asset.
Certified as a Quality professional, e.g. ASQ certification
Salary Range:
$100,000.00 to $130,000.00

Required to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders.
Involves a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Indoor and outdoor work in the hot and cold
Fast-paced environment that may require long hours, including nights and weekends
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and reflective vests when on-site
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 25lbs
Walking and standing while in-office or on-site
Occasional climbing on and off equipment and bending
