Participate in project meetings to plan future activities and make sure the project's coordination requirements are met
Write NCRs/OFIs/RFIs as needed
Integrate with SAP System
Perform Monthly Safety Audits for the project
Ensure that safety procedures in accordance with the company’s OH&amp;S manual, Worker’s Compensation Act, Employment Standard Act, and WorkSafeBC Regulations are being followed

The Estimator is responsible for planning, organizing, and fully developing comprehensive conceptual and final costing estimates from the start to the completion of varied civil construction projects. This position works with the Project Procurement team in the delivery of a total bid price for heavy civil general contracts in both conventional tender and design-build formats. This position may also act as the Technical Lead on Design-Build Projects, and if successful, act as Project Manager throughout project execution.
Key Tasks and Accountability
Reviews contractual documents and contract modifications to determine the scope of work;
Reviews specifications and drawings and attends pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates;
Prepare accurate takeoff quantities using Autodesk QTO takeoff application;
Prepare estimates using B2W estimating system calculating material, labor, and equipment costs and applying them to the complete scope of work;
Prepare, issue, receive and review supplier and subcontractor proposals and pricing;
Reviews options based on design and recommends the best solution based on cost competitiveness;
Assist proposal manager in preparing bid package documents;
Negotiate and manage bid award process and execute contracts;

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Superintendent, successful Carpenter foreperson are trade-qualified, craftspeople with extensive skills and experience in the field of carpentry and bridge-related construction activities who are responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry projects. 
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Scheduling 
Understand and implement the project work plan in order to meet, or improve upon, the budget and schedule
Translate the detailed task requirements into a prioritized plan for individual assignments and accountabilities.
Identify and verify that all tools and materials required by the crew are available in advance of task performance
Identify unforeseen needs or deficiencies in the plan/schedule and advise the Superintendent
Review, track, and report production results to the Superintendent daily
Resolve and report to the Superintendent any tasking/scheduling conflicts with other crews or contractors
Accountable for the production goals established for their tasks, including daily management of site-level documentation and timesheets

The Grade Foreperson is the first in command under the supervision of the Superintendent and oversees the execution of work on the job site, which may include projects in Sechelt, Powell River, or other locations within the Sunshine Coast area, depending on the project year.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Site Operation
Ensure work order and all necessary information is provided prior to commencing work
Review work orders and fully understand the scope of work and timelines
Review project requirements (quantities, cost codes, production rate, drawings …) with Superintendent
Perform or verify project survey/layout as necessary
Monitor material quantities and production rates on a continuous basis
Capable of constructing curb &amp; gutter, sidewalk, CB / MH installation/adjustment, grading operations, cut/fill slopes, excavations, retaining walls, etc.
Reinforce the disciplinary program
Oversight and review minimize costs and optimize efficiency
Coordinate/Schedule Onsite Work
Inform all workers on site of the schedule
Lead/organize/give specific instructions to the crew on a daily basis, as tasks may vary day to day on a job site. Organize what is needed for the work site, such as trucks, equipment, materials, and sub-contractors (flaggers, surveyors, utility subcontractors,…) quality requirements are met
Supervise all aspects of the daily and weekly operations
Monitor work progress and ensure scheduled deadlines are met

Rattaché(e) au Chef de service travaux, vos principales missions seront les suivantes :

Assurer la gestion et l'organisation des chantiers dans le respect des objectifs techniques, financiers et commerciaux fixés,
Planifier les travaux, établir le budget, gérer et suivre la partie financière,
Gérer le personnel et le matériel,
Consulter, sélectionner les fournisseurs et gérer les sous-traitants,
Être garant du respect de la politique prévention des risques et environnement sur nos chantiers.
 
Ce poste nécessite des déplacements sur la région PACA au gré de nos chantiers.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
 Vous êtes diplômé(e) d’une école d’ingénieur (ESTP, ENSAM, ESITC, etc…) et avez une expérience minimale de 5 ans en conduite de travaux dans le secteur du Génie civil et/ou des travaux maritimes.

Vous êtes rigoureux (se), curieux (se), et organisé(e).

Doté(e) de qualités relationnelles et commerciales, vous êtes diplomate et avez des réelles capacités à manager et à travailler en équipe avec des interlocuteurs multiples

Vous avez le permis B et êtes mobile.

Participer à l’élaboration des objectifs du chantier et du budget
Organiser le chantier
Planifier les travaux
Encadrer les équipes
Respecter les règles d'hygiène, sécurité et environnement
Réaliser le suivi et bon aboutissement du chantier
Assurer le reporting journalier
Représenter l’entreprise auprès des clients sur le terrain

Ce poste nécessite des déplacements sur la région PACA au gré de nos chantiers.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Votre meilleure formation est essentiellement l’expérience du métier (minimum 5 ans à un poste équivalent dans le secteur du Génie civil et/ou des travaux maritimes). Une formation initiale Bac - Bac +3 est appréciée.

Doté(e) de qualités relationnelles, vous avez des réelles capacités à manager et à travailler en équipe avec des interlocuteurs multiples.

Véritable meneur(euse) d’Hommes avec une autorité naturelle, vous avez le sens du profit et le sens des responsabilités.

Organisation, autonomie et rigueur sont des éléments essentiels à la réussite dans ce poste.

Vous avez le permis B et êtes mobile.

Rattaché(e) à la Responsable études de prix, vos principales missions seront les suivantes :

Analyser les éléments du dossier d'appel d'offres ou de consultation
Elaborer les méthodes et les procédés de réalisation
Etablir le planning prévisionnel des travaux
Organiser l’étude en décidant des moyens à mettre en œuvre
Réaliser les consultations auprès des fournisseurs, analyser et présélectionner les dossiers afin d’élaborer une offre de prix pertinente par rapport aux besoins du client
Détecter, formaliser et chiffrer les enjeux techniques et/ou financiers du projet
Rédiger les documents techniques justificatifs, les documents d’étude et les mémoires de l’offre
Réaliser la mise à prix du projet
Identifier les risques techniques et proposer des pistes d'optimisation du projet
Rédiger les mémoires techniques justificatifs
Présenter et négocier l’offre aux clients le cas échéant
Réaliser les transferts des dossiers au Service Travaux

 &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Diplômé(e) d’une école d’ingénieur (ESTP, ENSAM, ESITC, etc…), vous disposez d’une solide expérience (5 ans minimum) en études de prix ou conduite de travaux dans le secteur du Génie civil et/ou des travaux maritimes.

Vous faites preuve de rigueur, d’autonomie, d’une bonne qualité rédactionnelle, d’un esprit de synthèse et avez une appétence pour la gestion de projet.

Dynamique et doté(e) de qualités relationnelles, vous avez de réelles capacités à travailler en équipe avec des interlocuteurs multiples.

Vous avez également le sens commercial et les aptitudes à la négociation.

Vous maîtrisez l'ensemble du Pack Office et gestion de projet.
