About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Working Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of remedial construction sites. You will take ownership of site activities, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality and environmental standards.
You will supervise works including:
Concrete repairs
Steel repairs and strengthening
Carbon Fibre strengthening (FRP)
Hydro-demolition and dry-spray
Temporary works and access solutions
Abrasive blasting and protective coatings
You will lead and manage site crews, oversee subcontractors, and maintain effective communication between the project team and workforce. Leading by example, you will champion a culture of safety, productivity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate site activities and allocate resources to achieve timely and high-quality project delivery
Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
Monitor project progress and proactively address issues affecting timelines or budgets
Liaise with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment across all stages of the project
Assist in the planning and setup of temporary works, including scaffolding, containment, and access systems
Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries, timesheets, and material usage
Champion continuous improvement and foster a high-performing site culture

About You
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced supervisor who can lead from the front and ensure remedial projects are delivered safely and efficiently. You will bring:
 5–10 years’ supervisory experience in construction or remediation projects
Proven capability delivering complex works on active construction or industrial sites
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance
High level of accountability and financial awareness, including tracking productivity and costs
Solid technical understanding of concrete and steel repair methods, coatings, and temporary works
Experience in marine structures, FRP systems, or specialist
remedial construction (highly regarded)
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Willingness to be site-based and lead by example

About the Role

In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of large and technically challenging projects  from strategy through to execution and close-out. Leading end-to-end project delivery across marine and remedial works

Le poste
Greenaffair dispose d’un pôle spécialisé dans la mesure et le monitoring, Monitolab. Nous intervenons essentiellement dans le monde du bâtiment pendant la conception, le chantier et l’exploitation. Sous la direction du Responsable de Monitolab, tu seras en charge d’accompagner nos clients dans leurs problématiques liées à l’acoustique et de développer cette activité.

TES MISSIONS
- Réaliser de missions de mesures acoustiques en environnement extérieur, en bâtiment et en industrie ainsi que des modélisations acoustiques (étude environnementale par exemple)
- Assister les maîtrises d’ouvrage pendant la conception et les maîtrises d’oeuvre en réalisation afin de garantir l’atteinte des objectifs acoustiques à réception : rapports, visites, notices acoustiques…
- Développer la compétence acoustique au sein de Greenaffair : diffusion du savoir, création d’outils…

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to support and oversee the delivery of major remedial, structural, and refurbishment projects. This is a nationally focused role, meaning you may be based in any Australian state, with travel to major project sites as required.
 
This position does not manage national business operations. Instead, you will provide specialised construction oversight, leadership, and technical support on key projects where your expertise is needed most.

You will work closely with regional delivery teams to ensure alignment in safety, construction methodologies, quality, and execution excellence.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;


Key Responsibilities
National Leadership &amp; Strategy
Provide leadership and direction to construction, project, and site teams across all states.
Drive operational consistency, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee national performance metrics, cost control, risk management, and project governance.
Contribute to executive-level planning and growth strategies.
Project Delivery Oversight
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required technical and quality standards.
Review methodologies, staging, temporary works, and engineering solutions for complex projects.
Provide senior support for high-risk, high-value, or technically challenging works.
Lead national quality assurance, compliance, and operational governance.|

People, Culture &amp; Capability
Mentor and develop Construction Managers, Project Managers, and emerging leaders.
Support national workforce planning, recruitment, and capability uplift.
Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety-first leadership.

Client &amp; Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and maintain relationships with key national clients, engineers, and delivery partners.
Represent the business at senior stakeholder forums and industry engagements.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within remedial, structural, civil, or complex refurbishment construction.
Strong technical understanding of remedial engineering, concrete repair, structural strengthening, façade upgrades, coatings, marine works, or industrial remediation.
Proven capability leading large, geographically dispersed construction teams.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts, claims, and project governance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
Willingness and ability to travel interstate regularly.

Desirable Background
Experience in brownfield or live operational environments.
Exposure to high‑risk works such as marine structures, bridges, façades, industrial facilities, and stadiums.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Estimator – Remedial Works
Freyssinet New Zealand is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Auckland-based Remedial team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value remedial and strengthening projects that protect and extend the life of critical infrastructure across New Zealand.
If you enjoy technical problem-solving, shaping winning tenders, and contributing at the front end of specialist construction projects, this role will give you real variety and impact.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The Role
As part of the NZ Remedial team, you will take ownership of estimating and tendering activities from early opportunity assessment through to submission. You’ll work closely with technical and delivery teams to develop smart, competitive solutions for a wide range of remedial works.
This position is Auckland-based and costed to overhead, with occasional short trips nationwide to review and assess project opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for remedial construction projects
Develop methodologies, construction programs, and pricing strategies
Coordinate and write high-quality tender and bid submissions
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
Provide technical and commercial input during pre-contract planning
Support the team in identifying and converting new opportunities

Concrete repairs and structural strengthening
Seismic strengthening works
Bridges, wharves, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings
 
About You
You are commercially minded, detail-driven, and comfortable working on technically complex projects.

Essential:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating or pre-contract roles
Strong experience in remedial works or specialist construction
Proven capability in costings, bid coordination, tender writing, planning, and methodologies

Preferred Background:
Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
Experience in repairs, marine works, strengthening, or heavy construction

Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of detailed tender estimates using first-principles methodologies, material take-offs, cost studies, productivity rates, and historical data.
Assess tender opportunities, clearly defining scope, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting commercial and technical recommendations to management.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering and construction teams to obtain and validate project information.
Develop construction methodologies, preliminary programs, and supporting technical documentation for tender submissions.
Ensure all tender documentation meets quality, compliance, and governance requirements.
Manage tender handovers to delivery teams, ensuring clarity of scope, risk, and commercial position.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and actively follow up on tender outcomes.
About You
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
