The Project
The Waikare Gorge Realignment project includes moving 4km of road (realignment) and a new bridge across the Waikare Gorge on State Highway 2 (SH2) at Pūtōrino north of Napier. The 4km realignment and new gorge bridge will make the highway safer and more resilient, offer better access for freight and communities and help avoid future emergency and recovery works in the gorge.
The Opportunity
As Survey Manager, you will lead spatial control, set‑out, monitoring, data governance and as‑built deliverables across the project. You’ll manage strategy, systems, and people, driving accuracy, consistency and safe delivery across the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Construction, Design, Temporary Works, Digital Engineering and Quality teams to ensure right‑first‑time execution, ensuring survey works are completed to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
Setting survey strategy and managing control networks, calibration and QA processes.
Overseeing set‑out, verification and monitoring across all stages of works.
Leading delivery of accurate, timely as‑builts and conformance documentation.
Coaching and directing a team of surveyors, and technicians.
Managing instruments, software, scanning/UAV capture and specialist bathymetric survey providers.i
Ensuring survey operations meet safety, environmental and quality expectations.
Working tightly with construction teams to achieve programme milestones and technical accuracy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
What You’ll Bring
Degree or diploma in Surveying or Civil Engineering.
10+ years’ construction surveying experience with at least 5 years leading survey teams on large infrastructure projects – with complex bridge experience highly beneficial.
Proficiency with GNSS/RTK, robotic total stations, digital levelling and control network adjustments.
Strong experience with 12d/Civil 3D/OpenRoads, Trimble/Leica or other similar workflows and digital data management.
Capability in scanning/UAV as‑built capture and QA processes.
Ability to work across disciplines with designers, engineers, commercial and construction teams.
Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development &amp; Tender Identification
Identify upcoming infrastructure and bridge projects where Freyssinet products can be specified and supplied.
Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams to secure tender opportunities.
Support market development initiatives and drive product sales growth.

Estimating &amp; Proposal Preparation
Prepare accurate cost estimates using internal costing tools, historical data, and collaboration with local and international manufacturing facilities.
Develop competitive technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
Maintain and enhance product cost libraries to support forecasting, budgeting, and tender submissions.
Ensure quotations and proposals are technically compliant and commercially sound.

Project Delivery &amp; Supply Chain Coordination

Vos missions principales : 
Vous jouerez un rôle de point de contact privilégié en Nouvelle-Zélande pour faciliter l'intégration entre les équipes locales et les équipes VINCI Construction SI :
 
- Contribuer à la coordination opérationnelle locale du programme d'intégration IT
-  Assurer le suivi des actions, priorités et risques locaux en lien avec les équipes centrales
-  Identifier les points d'attention et accompagner leur remontée vers les instances de pilotage
-  Préparer et consolider les éléments de reporting du programme
-  Faciliter la collaboration entre les équipes locales et les équipes VINCI Construction SI

About the project
 
The Ōtaki to North Levin project focuses on upgrading the transport link along State Highway 1 (SH1) between Ōtaki and North Levin to improve road safety, reduce congestion, enhance travel efficiency, and support regional economic growth.
In partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and the Horowhenua District Council, this project will be executed through a two-alliance approach. Each alliance will be responsible for delivering a section of the road and associated works, ensuring a collaborative and comprehensive delivery.
 
This exciting new four-lane 24.8km highway project will dramatically improve safety and resilience, providing better access to walking and cycling facilities for those moving around or through the Horowhenua and Kāpiti districts. The project includes multiple large complex bridge structures plus a full interchange at Taraua Road, a half interchange north at Taylors Road, two roundabouts and approximately 4m m3 of complex earthworks ,significant drainage infrastructure and a structural asphalt concrete pavement.
 
The Role
 
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide technical and operational support across bridge and structural construction projects. The role involves on‑site engineering support, coordination of subcontractors, quality assurance, safety leadership and assistance with programme and cost management. You will also support methodology development and setting‑out activities while working closely with site management teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support on bridge construction projects, including piling, substructures and superstructures
Assist with construction methodologies, temporary works coordination and sequencing
Support health and safety planning, safe work methodologies and on‑site compliance
Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination and cost tracking

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our earthworks team based at the site office in Waikare. Experience in major projects civil construction, including earthworks, is essential.
You'll be liaising with project management staff, site, suppliers and subcontractors to plan and execute work, ensuring your section of works are completed cost-effectively and on time. This is a great opportunity for an existing Senior Project Engineer to step-up into a project leadership role and advance their career.

The Tenders Manager reports to the General Manager Winning Work and leads the centralised Tenders team to secure profitable work for the business. The team includes Submissions Managers, Bid Writers and Bid Leaders, delivering high quality submissions to clients across New Zealand.
This role requires a strong understanding of client priorities and close collaboration with operational leaders to shape strategy, plan effectively and deliver compelling, winning submissions.

The Tenders Manager is accountable for lifting overall bid performance, driving consistency in approach and ensuring robust governance across all submissions. This includes overseeing bid planning, resourcing and risk management, as well as embedding best practice processes, tools and data-driven insights to improve win rates.
The role also champions continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency and innovation in how we pursue and secure work.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tender programme, including pipeline planning and resourcing, ensuring timelines, governance, and review processes are met
Deliver high-quality, client-focused tenders and proposals that are commercially robust and compelling
Strengthen bid capability and embed best-practice submission management across the business
Coach and support operational teams to lift overall winning work capability
Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and information management
Champion innovation in the development of our bids, to enhance our competitive position
Manage tender budgets, team costs, and external support effectively
Provide leadership on strategic bids, including shaping winning strategies and approaches
Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions with clear insight into risks and likelihood of success

To be successful in this role you’ll have significant experience (10+ years) in civil construction management, combined with strong experience in leading successful strategic tenders. You’ll also have:
Strong people management skills - managing and directing high performing teams, building a culture of safe innovation, trust and loyalty to achieve their best
A desire to continually improve processes and embrace technology to achieve greater results and drive efficiency
Experience in business development and a proven ability to build networks with clients, design consultants and partners

About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Working Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of remedial construction sites. You will take ownership of site activities, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality and environmental standards.
You will supervise works including:
Concrete repairs
Steel repairs and strengthening
Carbon Fibre strengthening (FRP)
Hydro-demolition and dry-spray
Temporary works and access solutions
Abrasive blasting and protective coatings
You will lead and manage site crews, oversee subcontractors, and maintain effective communication between the project team and workforce. Leading by example, you will champion a culture of safety, productivity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Solid technical understanding of concrete and steel repair methods, coatings, and temporary works
