Site Engineer – Remedial Freyssinet Australia | Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (Site-Based) Kalgoorlie | Accommodation & Vehicle Provided | Specialist Remedial Works At Freyssinet Australia, we extend the life of critical infrastructure and our WA team is growing into regional project delivery. We're looking for a Site Engineer to be based in Kalgoorlie, working on technically interesting remedial and civil scopes in one of WA's most active regional hubs. The Opportunity Working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams, you'll support the delivery of remedial and civil works across the Kalgoorlie region. Site-based and hands-on, with exposure across the full project lifecycle from planning through to execution. What You'll Be Doing Assisting with planning and coordination of remedial works on site Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate delivery Supporting daily site activities alongside supervisors and subcontractors Monitoring progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements Preparing documentation ITPs, SWMS, reports, and progress updates Supporting cost tracking, procurement, and programme management Keeping safety embedded in everything on site What You'll Bring Degree in Civil Engineering or similar 1–3 years' experience in construction or civil engineering Exposure to concrete repair, structural strengthening, or remedial works highly regarded Practical, hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving instincts Willing to be regionally based — Kalgoorlie is the role, not a FIFO arrangement Confident communicator with site teams and stakeholders What's On Offer Accommodation provided Vehicle provided Work on specialist, technically challenging projects you won't find at tier-one contractors Clear career pathway into Project Engineer and Project Manager roles Tight-knit team with strong national and international backing through Soletanche Freyssinet and the VINCI Group

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of complex, high-value projects ($5M–$20M). This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping our growing remedial division while delivering impactful coastal infrastructure projects. About the Role In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of large and technically challenging projects from strategy through to execution and close-out. You’ll be responsible for driving safety, performance, client satisfaction, and profitability, while building strong teams and lasting client relationships.

Leading end-to-end project delivery across marine and remedial works Developing and executing project strategies, programs, and critical path milestones Identifying and managing risks to ensure safe and successful outcomes Championing a zero-harm safety culture across all works Managing client relationships, anticipating needs, and identifying growth opportunities Driving strong commercial performance through cost control and labour efficiency Overseeing contracts, claims, and commercial risk management Leading, mentoring, and empowering project teams and subcontractors Managing procurement and negotiations for labour, materials, and services Supporting innovation and driving continuous improvement onsite Delivering accurate reporting, forecasting, and project performance insights Leading project close-out, ensuring all deliverables and financials are finalise What You’ll Bring Degree in Engineering or Construction Postgraduate qualification in Project Management (highly regarded) Experience & Skills Minimum 8+ years’ experience in construction, ideally in a Project Manager or leadership role Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale projects ($5M–$20M) Experience in marine, civil, or remedial projects highly desirable Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations Commercially astute with strong contract and risk management experience Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent communication skills confident with clients, teams, and reporting
