Description de la mission

To support the successful delivery of a major international project in a challenging environment, we are looking for an experienced Camp Construction Manager (M/F). 


In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and delivery of all Camp Construction activities required for the establishment of the Project accommodation facilities and associated infrastructure. 


This position will be based abroad in a demanding and remote environment, with logistics challenges. 


Reporting to the Project Direction, your main responsibilities will include:



  • Lead the delivery of all camp construction activities from planning through commissioning and handover.

  • Manage the construction of accommodation, office, catering, medical, recreational, and utility facilities.

  • Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project execution.

  • Control project schedules, budgets, and construction performance, implementing corrective actions as required.

  • Coordinate interfaces with other project teams to ensure seamless integration of camp infrastructure.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, regulations, and project governance processes.

  • Lead inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.

  • Monitor risks, opportunities, and project progress, driving continuous improvement throughout execution.

Profil



  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.




  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management on major infrastructure, mining, oil & gas or industrial projects.




  • Proven experience delivering camp facilities, accommodation compounds or remote site infrastructure projects.




  • Demonstrated experience in multicultural and remote project environments.




  • Strong knowledge of building construction, utilities and site infrastructure.




  • Experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.




  • Strong planning, scheduling and project management capabilities.




  • Ability to manage multiple interfaces in a complex project environment.




  • Sound understanding of HSE management systems.




  • Experience working with international Clients and remote workforce accommodation facilities.




  • Fluency in English is mandatory.




  • Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work in multinational teams.
