Position – Principal CS&A Engineer (client side 13487)
Location – Remote / Plymouth
Travel – Occasional site visit once a month
Hybrid working – Working Remotely OR at one of our Nuvia offices in Warrington, North West or Milton, Oxford
Arrangement – Contracted (Inside IR35)

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.
Supporting one of our key clients we are looking for Principal CS&A Engineers to support the sites pipework project of a nuclear licensed site. This will involve providing mechanical assistance and managing activities so that processes are properly, adequately, and efficiently implemented across the project.
Profile
Responsibilities of a Principal CS&A Engineer –
- Technically manage a team of engineers to identify and update Design Safety Reports (DSR)
- The checking and review of all technical output from the DRS updates work package.
- Developing the methodology to update existing systems
- The ability to provide expert advice in their related specialism.
- Plan effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading projects technical planning process.
- Essential to have effective quality management arrangements.
- Ensure that all processes and activities are being managed and appropriately documented.
Qualifications and Experience of a Principal CS&A Engineer –
- Understanding the workings of nuclear license sites.
- Understanding of civil and structural construction techniques employed by Nuclear Safety related facilities.
- Understanding the PRS process.
Desirable experience of a Principal CS&A Engineer –
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering office computer applications.
- Experience of the design support for construction, operation, refit/repair of conventional and nuclear defence equipment.
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering activities through design, implementation and operation with a core focus on safety
