Description of the assignment

As part of the international rollout of E-Tons (VINCI Construction's digital weighing solution), we are looking for a VIE IT Lead to join the Americas team, based in Montréal, Canada, for a period of 18 months.

Already deployed in Eastern Canada and the USA, the solution is now entering new rollout phases in Western Canada and Chile, while continuing to evolve through new features and ongoing support.

Reporting to both the local Program Manager and the Central E-Tons team, you will be responsible for all project activities related to the deployment and evolution of the solution across the region :

Align Americas activities with central teams and roadmaps:


  • Present project evolutions, support topics and key updates to central stakeholders 
  • Report on project progress and escalate risks and issues to central management 
  • Monitor implementation and adoption of new features in the field and gather feedback for continuous improvement 

Lead E-Tons deployment projects in new regions (Western Canada, Chile and possible future acquisition) within Americas region:

  • Manage project activities across all phases (planning, deployment, testing, go-live, hypercare, …) 
  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders involved in the projects 
  • Escalate risks and issues to central management 
    Ensure delivery of project documentation and deliverables (workshops, specifications, reporting, testbooks, training…) 
  • Support business teams during deployment phases, especially testing and go-live preparation 

Manage E-Tons version and build initiatives (automation, loading application, new features):

  • Collect and formalize business needs by working closely with local operational teams 
  • Ensure end-to-end follow-up of developments (from requirements to delivery and validation) 
  • Coordinate the implementation of new version and build evolution with the local IT and business teams 
  • Monitor implementation and adoption of new features in the field and gather feedback for continuous improvement 

Ensure operational support for deployed perimeters (Eastern Canada, USA) 

  • Monitor incidents (mySupport) 
  • Participate in the support activities in the America region as part of the support chain 
  • Coordinate resolution with E-Tons central team and the editor if necessary 

Profile

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in IT project management 
  • Experience in international deployment of digital solutions 
  • Experience in support management / run activities 
  • Knowledge of Aggregates & Industries business and weighing tool solutions  
  • Strong autonomy and organizational skills 
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Mobility within the America Region 
  • Ability to work in an international environment 
  • Fluent in English, and Spanish if possible
