Role: Senior FS Engineer 


Location: Actemium Automation Nottingham - Main office (Ilkeston)


Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours


Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

About the role

 

As a Senior Engineer at AA Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. A customer focused role, you will be assisting the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing and working collaboratively with the Project Managers. 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team
  • Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations
  • Provide technical supervision of system design, build and installation personnel. Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards and
    legislative requirements

 

The Person

 

  • Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
  • High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
  • Strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
  • Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
  • Good appreciation of industrial software controls systems
