Role: Commercial Manager

Location: Birmingham office, remote working and travel to BU Locations

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours

Salary from: £65,000 + Benefits

About the role

You will be involved in the strategic development, client and partner relations across our seven different business units. Advising and negotiating if required on commercial contracts, agreements. You will be the point of contact for the Automation Perimeter BUs to mitigate any commercial or contractual risk. 

Main Responsibilities

• Managing, developing, enforcing, and enhancing company policies, standards, and procedures
• Support BUs in preparation of tendering submissions
• Supports and negotiates contract terms and progressing contract terms to sign-off
• Producing reports and analyses for senior stakeholders#
• development and implementation of best practice procurement strategies.

The Person

• Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders at management level
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Full awareness of negotiating contract terms and conditions including NDA's
• Ability to provide critical review, and understanding budget controls
• Experience in difficult and commercially challenging projects
