Description of the assignment

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which is a leader in its market and has very ambitious growth plans.

The role will report to the Financial Controller who needs a right-hand person to support the management and development of the reporting function.

The core role is the assistance in the production of financial accounts/reports.  Whilst the role will mainly cover Menard it will also involve providing the FC with support in another Group Company called Sixense.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation.
  • Working with site teams and the shared service Finance department to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy.
  • Periodically visiting job sites.
  • Reconciling key balance sheet accounts.
  • Assistance in the preparation of year end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS).
  • Support FC on ad hoc administrative and commercial projects.

Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • Assistance in the preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation.

Desirable:

  • Experience of Peoplesoft accounting packages
  • Construction or engineering sector experience
