We design, finance, build and operate highways, bridges, tunnels, urban roads and mobility services on a network of more than 3,360 km in 15 countries. VINCI Highways, among its activities, develops the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) market, ranging from free-flow tolling or national truck tolling schemes, to congestion charging or mileage-based charging, and expanding to new services in the mobility eco-system. This includes providing solutions and services in the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) market.
VINCI Highways is currently looking for a Project Development and Operations Director (M/F).
In this position, your main responsabilities will be :
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
- Create detailed business plans in commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization, in order to understand the sales value chain, and comprehensively respond to tenders.
Depending on the project, your main activities may include:
Business Development
- Lead the development of new opportunities in EMEA market, including leading strategy and tender development, to ensure tender compliance and positioning to enhance win opportunity.
- Develop an annual business development strategic plan with specific goals, strategies, audiences, tactics and measurement for positioning of ETC and Mobility market.
- Contribute to the analysis and understanding of the ETC and Mobility market and the key players.
- Contribute to the technical and economical assessment of the business models.
Bid phase
- Responsible for creating and overseeing bid processes, with a detailed, costed, and persuasive proposal, including driving the bid strategy.
- Lead the selection of our contractors, including contractual negotiations.
- Develop project opportunity briefings and present to executive management for committee approvals.
Implementation Phase
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system and operational implementation meets contractual requirements.
- Manage customer relations, as primary point of contact, and ensure a collaborative approach among parties.
Program Management / Operational
- Collaborate with internal business leaders for development of Business Plan, Budget and P&L.
- Working with finance, monitor and report on cash flow and P&L.
- Establish strategic alignment with the customer and the partners to achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance to Business contract, SLAs, and other Agreements.
Profil
o Engineering, Business Diploma or similar
o Experience in defining appropriate program governance (controls) for large programs to smaller projects.
o Strong experience in managing design, development, integration and deployment of complex systems including hardware, software and IT, with critical performance levels (financial, customer service..).
o Successful experience in managing staff, operations, customers, partner relations, contracts
o Demonstrated ability to understand and develop business models and its key drivers,
o Ability to lead a multicultural and international team,
o Regular travels in France and abroad
o Fluent in French and English.
