Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) forma parte desde abril del 2016 de la plataforma aeroportuaria mundial de VINCI Airports.
Administra y opera seis aeropuertos de la República Dominicana, en virtud de un contrato de concesión otorgado por el Estado, que se extiende hasta el año 2030.
Tiene bajo su responsabilidad los Aeropuertos Internacionales de las Américas, José Francisco Peña Gómez, en Santo Domingo; Presidente Dr. Joaquín Balaguer, en Santo Domingo Norte; Gregorio Luperón, en Puerto Plata; María Montez, en Barahona y Presidente Juan Bosch en la provincia de Samaná; además, del Aeródromo Arroyo Barril, ubicado también en Samaná.
Aerodom maneja un promedio anual de 5 millones de pasajeros en unos 76,610 movimientos de aeronaves¹ y a través de su red de aeropuertos 49 aerolíneas conectan a la República Dominicana con 58 ciudades en el mundo.

Description de la mission
The world’s leading private airport operator, VINCI Airports operates more than 70 airports in 14 countries.
Located in Santo Domingo, Las Americas international airport is the main airport in the Dominican Republic.
We are currently looking for a Corporate Manager of Occupational Health and Safety (F/M).
The principal responsibilities in this position will be to plan, develop, implement and supervise occupational safety standards, regulations and programs to prevent workplace accidents, occupational diseases and emergency situations, guaranteeing the safety of workers and the operational continuity of the concessioned airports. The Corporate Manager of Occupational Health&safety reports to the AERODOM CTO.
More precisely, the HSE Manager will be responsible for :
- Design and implement an occupational health and safety management system aligned with national and international regulations, the identification and mitigation of risks, the continuous training of staff, the development of contingency plans, the promotion of an organizational safety culture and the constant evaluation of the effectiveness of the policies and programs implemented, ensuring compliance with the best practices and standards in terms of safety. VINCI standards are a MUST.
- Schedule, prioritize and coordinate occupational health and safety inspections and audits of facilities within airports with the purpose of detecting and/or correcting any irregularities in compliance with industry regulations, thus minimizing potential risks for the concession.
- Develop and update occupational health and safety policies that are aligned with national and international regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Plan, implement and monitor programs for the prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses in all operational areas, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Lead the design and implementation of an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) based on best practices and international standards, such as ISO 45001.
- Identify, assess and mitigate occupational risks through audits, periodic inspections and incident analysis, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop and coordinate emergency and contingency plans, ensuring that all workers are prepared to act efficiently in emergency situations.
- Supervise ongoing staff training on topics related to occupational safety, handling of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety in the organization, encouraging the active participation of all employees in identifying risks and in the continuous improvement of safety policies.
- Conduct investigations into accidents and near misses, identifying their root causes and establishing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of occupational health and safety.
Profil
- University degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Master's degree in Occupational Safety (preferable).
Extensive knowledge in risk management, methods and improvements in industrial safety and occupational health.
Previous experience in construction environment is mandatory.
- Advanced English and Spanish level.
