We are looking an Operations Manager ensuring the management, supervision, and coordination of the execution of the service for the projects to be carried out by the CARPI GROUP in the Ibero Region.

Carpi Group Iberoamerica :

  • Turnover 6 to 8 million USD
  • Yearly activity 4 to 6 projects
  • Currently with activities in Peru, Mexico, Bolivia, Spain and under expansion of Brazilian market.
  • Projects to come in 2025 Panama, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, the Caribbean.
  • Constant interaction and coordination of cooperation of specialized manpower with USA, Canada, India, and Middle East.
  • Green projects with very low carbon emission focused in water storage, extension of life of mayor structures and renewable energies !

Reporting to the Operations manager HQ based in Switzerland and to the General Manager Iberoamerica, your main task are :

  • Carry out the review of technical documentation provided by the Engineering Department and the client, for the development of the execution of the Project.
  • Coordinate with the designated managers of the Engineering Department for the reception of deliverables.
  • Prepare the development schedule for the execution of the projects.
  • Prepare the budget and cash flows, monitoring, forecasting, and controlling costs for the projects.
  • Carry out coordination prior to the execution of the projects
  • Carry out the management of resource requirements (materials, equipment and personnel) for the execution of the projects
  • Monitor the works that are under the responsibility of the Operations Department in the Iberoamerica region.
  • Prepare and issue the project assessment, project progress reports and the monthly project report.
  • Manage cost control and forecasting of direct project costs.
  • Prepare and issue the project closure report.
  • Store and organize the documentation of projects.
  • Attend Operations Department meetings.
  • Develop the procedures inherent to the position.

You will be hired with a local employment contract based in our subsidiary in Lima. The job position include frequent travels all over Latam countries.

Profil

  • Civil or Hydraulic engineering Diploma
  • 10 years’ experience on an operational management position, including Contract management experience in construction projects between 4 to 6 million euros.
  • Knowledge of the hydraulic and dam construction would be a plus
  • International & multiculturalism experience is required
  • Capacity to lead teams and workers
  • Fluent in English is required
