Technical Lead

Contract: 12 months initially

Hybrid: 2 days home/3 days office

Location: Bristol

 

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Lead, supporting one of our key clients. You will be working on a Hinkley Point C project, which is a multidisciplinary teamed project involving Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Heating and Plant Layout.

 

As the Technical Lead you will ensure compliance between the scope delivery schedule and project schedule, reporting into the Client. You will monitor and report any project risks managed by the integrated multidiscipline teams and monitor the associated budget throughout the year.

 

 

As the Technical Lead you will also be responsible for:

  • Driving and coordinating the progress of technical & contractual topics across the relevant entities, by gathering inputs from the various stakeholders, proposing orientations throughout the project to approve, and engaging with the Client to reach convergence.
  • Participate in reviewing and addressing early warnings, answers to Compensation Events and/or General Communications.
  • Contribute to the management of scope gaps, engaging with the technical teams to identify the gaps in the project to allocate them.
  • Participate in Risks Management, to ensure risks are consistently covered across all areas and entities.

Profile

To be considered for the Technical Lead role you should have:

  • Previous experience working in a technical role in a Nuclear, Defence or Marine environment.
  • Ability to understand technical topics across various disciplines including Civil, Plant Layout, Mechanical, Electrical, and Heating.
  • Contractual awareness & stakeholder management.  
  • Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance is essential.
