Position: CE&I Safety System Design Engineer
Location: Birchwood Park, Warrington
Arrangement: Permanent/Contract
Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office, 2 days at home.

This opportunity is working on the Sellafield Progressive framework, specifically supporting on the MSSS SEP project.
BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.
The role:
To work within the Silos MSSS SEP1&2 CE&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking Safety System design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.
Profile
Essential:
- Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
- Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
- Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
- Providing support to Commissioning
- Willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable:
- Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards
- Evidence of applying a pragmatic approach to the delivery of new/modified safety requirements on existing systems
