Description de la mission
The VIE will report to the CFO (VINCI expatriate, based in Sal Island) and be integrated within a team of 15. The direct reporting to the CFO will be a unique opportunity for the VIE to learn about the various financial functions in the concessions business (structured finance, business partnering, financial and strategic planning, purchase, controlling, reporting) and to develop his/her financial, innovation and soft skills.
The main functions of the VIE will be:
Business partnering and Strategic & Financial Planning:
o Business opportunities analysis with all the departments of the company to generate value: commercial, operations, technical, …
o Benchmarking with other VINCI Airports’ entities worldwide, to identify new opportunities for CVA
o Controlling the long-term value creation by managing the long-term financial model and its update
o Participation in the Structured Financing follow-up or even to any new opportunities in terms of Financing
Innovation:
o To leverage all the digital capabilities to improve the company processes and controlling: Power BI, Power Apps, artificial intelligence, …
o To act as local referent for the Smart Data Hub, unique tool developed by VINCI Airports to consolidate all the data of the assets worldwide to analyze their performance
Environmental business partnering:
o Preparing the CO2 emission forecast
o Alongside the environmental team, preparing business models of any new opportunities to decrease CO2 emissions, water consumption, to meet the targets of VINCI Airports
Controlling:
o participating in the production and management of financial reporting tool for senior management
o analyzing the company’s monthly performance by reviewing gaps between results and objectives/budgets
o participating in the production of budgets and the comprehensive formal documents that will serve as a guide throughout the year
o Capex control : develop and implement a Capex control system to help reporting and identify potential mismatch with accounting procedures.
Purchase:
o Based on budget projection, to prepare a strategic roadmap of purchase over the year
o Contact with VA HQ to enhance

Works with ample level of autonomy, reporting directly to the French CFO, being part of VINCI Airports, one of the worldwide leaders in this business, provides the opportunity to develop the required skills for different positions in the future in areas of finance manager/CFO position, structured finance, or even in data/innovation.
Profil
Qualifications & skills
o Qualifications in finance or in data engineering (Master Degree)
o Background: French Grandes Ecoles (Engineering or Business School) or any other equivalent (including international), a first experience in finance (audit) is a plus
o Creative, curious and proactive
o Self-motivated, self-driven, ability to take challenges
o Interested in data and business value creation
o Languages: business level in English, Portuguese is a plus
