This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which is a leader in its market and has very ambitious growth plans.
The role will report to the Quality and Sustainability Manager supporting them in; implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring that the processes needed for this are establish and maintained. They will analyse quality and environmental data and generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. The successful candidate will also conduct regular internal quality and environmental inspections/audits.
We are seeking a creative individual with strong communication and problem solving skills, they will hold a degree (or similar level of qualification) in environmental science, quality manager or a related field. It is essential the individual has a good working knowledge of Sharepoint and PowerBI.
Key Responsibilities:
To support the Quality and Sustainability Manager to implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard and BSL strategy.
To support to the Quality and Sustainability Manager to ensure that the processes needed for the quality and environmental management systems are established, implemented, and maintained.
To analyse quality and environmental data, and to generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
To work with function/process owners to close gaps and improve efficiency.
To conduct regular internal Quality and Environmental inspections/audits to ensure compliance with company policies and processes, and to identify areas for improvement.
To deliver Quality and Environmental initiatives/training, supporting the business where needed.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Quality Management, or a related field.
Environmental and/or Quality Practitioner professional certificate.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in process mapping.
Proficient in the use of SharePoint and Power Bi.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in working in a Quality Assurance or Environmental Advisory role, preferably within the Construction Industry.
