Project Overview:

The Walsh-VINCI Transit Community Partners (WVTCP) Joint Venture consisting of VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Walsh Construction has been selected to construct the $2.9BN Design Build Red Line Extension (RLE) project – the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). The RLE Mainline Design-Build (MDB) Project will extend the CTA's Red Line by 5.6 miles, extending from the existing terminal at 95th/Dan Ryan south to 130th Street and Doty Avenue.

The System Commercial Manager is responsible for the management of the commercial, administration and contractual aspects of the subcontractors for system integration: substation, traction power, third rail, signaling, telecommunication, SCADA, and track.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legal expert for the management of the subcontracts for system integration.

• Support the Lead System integrator in contract administration of the system subcontract letters, claim analysis, change order, and invoice check.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 Years’ experience in a contractual administration position with main Subcontractors in the system department

• Experience and knowledge in system and design & build topics.

• Experience in partnering with an executive team, with excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.

• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and has strong interpersonal skills.

• Commercial awareness.

• Ability to understand broader business issues.

• Ability to work in multicultural environment.
• Experience working on Joint Venture (JV) construction projects required
