Description of the assignment
Reporting to the Content and Marketing Manager, but also closely collaborating with the rest of the overall Brand Team you will:
- Proactively connect to people from all over the world and at all levels of the organization, as well as the different Brand Team expertise, to gather and develop content
- Participate in the development and structuring of a strategy and editorial calendar
- Media monitoring to contribute to identifying news within the network, but also industry and societal trends and topics, to feed editorial calendar
- Develop written content for our website, marketing collaterals, Magazine, and other internal and external publications and supports
- Actively participate in editorial meetings and social media content meetings
- Proofread, edit, and translate existing content for further dissemination/ adaptation
- Contribute to and review material produced by other experts (infographics, videos, social media posts) for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned content
Profile
Professional skills and accreditations :
- Masters degree in Communications / Journalism
- Alternatively: Bachelor or Diploma/ License with a minimum of 4 years professional full-time experience
- A passion for storytelling, exceptional research, writing, and editing skills.
- Excellent interview skills and ability to guide subject matter experts in simplifying responses
- Understanding of journalistic principles and style, as well as adaptation for different types of media
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office tools
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple messages
- Attention to detail; ability to proof-read and edit information for a range of internal and external communications channels
- Knowledge of SEO practices and ability to use WordPress
- Understanding of project management principles and tools
- Languages: Native-level English. Working level French. Another language is a plus.
