Description de la mission

Context: in a context of rapid growth, VINCI Highways is looking for a Global Communications intern to support its development and contribute to spreading shared communications practices across its network. Present in 4 continents with more than half of its activity in the Americas, VINCI Highways’ mission is to connect territories and people through safe, innovative, and environmentally performant highways.

Strategic challenges:

As part of VINCI, a global group listed on the stock exchange, we operate in an environment where performance, reputation, and transparency are essential.
We operate within the Concessions Division of VINCI (VINCI Autoroutes, VINCI Airports, VINCI Highways, VINCI Railways and VINCI Stadium). This requires alignment and collaboration on communications culture.
Our business model involves both public authorities and daily customers, making communication central to building trust, ensuring acceptability, and promoting our added value.
We are a 24/7 company, with highway operations running continuously across multiple time zones, so our communications must be responsive and agile.
We are expanding rapidly, integrating new highway concessions that bring diverse teams, cultures, and local communications contexts.
We are at the crossroads of today’s mega trends, from the transformation of mobility and the role of private partners in infrastructure development, to large-scale construction works, environmental transition and digitalization. Each of these issues impacts how we communicate our performance to our stakeholders.

Your role: this internship offers a rare opportunity to work at the heart of a multicultural communications network, in daily contact with colleagues in +10 countries.

As a Global Communications intern, you will:

Take part in the design and delivery of new platforms and initiatives to elevate VINCI Highways identity (project management, coordinating agencies, ensuring timelines etc).
Contribute to international coordination, maintaining daily exchanges with our communications counterparts on the ground, and ensuring the right flow of information between field and HQ.
Support media monitoring and media relations, drafting talking points, speeches, briefing notes.
Participate in internal communications to support engagement across 4,000 employees worldwide.
Contribute to brand development, notably new identity for local concessions.
Work with the strategic functions of VINCI Highways - operations, technical, finance, development, experiencing how communications directly serve business performance.
