Freyssinet New Zealand is part of the global VINCI Group, specializing in remedial and structural solutions. As we continue to expand our presence in New Zealand, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our Remedial division. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects while progressing towards a Construction Manager role within the next two years.

The Role


As a Project Manager – Remedial, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of remedial and structural projects across New Zealand. You will ensure projects are executed within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Profile

  • Key Responsibilities:
    Lead and manage remedial projects from inception to completion.
    Oversee financial aspects, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and subcontractors.
    Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout project execution.
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to drive project success.
    Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a strong team culture.
  • Travel to Wellington or Christchurch as required.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in remedial, structural, or civil engineering.
  • Strong commercial acumen, time management, and cost control skills.
  • Background in technical project management, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience within the VINCI Group is an advantage.
  • A mindset geared towards stepping into a Construction Manager role in the near future.
