Sogea-Satom has a long historical presence in Africa, especially in East Africa and Madagascar.

It has permanent Business Units (BU) in Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Ivory Coast and Madagascar. Each of these countries has a Country Director at its head.

Sogea-Satom could also be active in other countries of the region.
Within this region, the company draws on the expertise, agility, and skills of its teams to design, build and maintain all construction projects in the following sectors: road and earthwork, hydraulic and civil engineering.
The average annual turnover is around 100-150M€ which is supposed to grow ; the headcounts around 2000 employees.
 

The Regional Director oversees the following:

• Manage the Country Managers
• Manage a regional team
• Ensure full organic development of group strategic activities
• Ensure operational excellence on the projects
• Liaise with all stakeholders
• Be part of Sogea-Satom Executive committee and reports directly to Sogea-Satom’ CEO
   

Civil Engineer graduated.
Minimum 15 years of track proven record in the Construction
Expertise in Infrastructure activity notably in Roads and Civil Works and ideally Hydraulics business too
Overseas background is “a plus”

Strong capacity in team management
Strong leadership and collaborative approach
English and French speaking
Position based in Nanterre but necessity to travel on a regular basis in Africa is required
