Description of the assignment
Position – Systems Engineer
Location – Aztec West, Bristol
Travel – Required at the office in Bristol 3 days per week and 2 days remote.
Arrangement – Staffed
Salary - Up to £53,000 DOE

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.
Profile
Activities to be carried out as part of the service:
- Produce, review and update the system documentation for hydrogen detection system KRH this includes operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental specification, control logic design, as well as periodic testing in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.
- Management of interfaces with EDVANCE disciplines involved in the radioprotection equipment contracts.
- Management of the design and operation of the EPR systems during the design, construction and commissioning phases, in accordance with safety requirements, regulatory requirements and design rules.
- Ensure the proper integration of detailed mechanical diagrams, functional diagrams, 3D model in the associated tools.
- Receive modification requests issued by various engineering teams, verify the coherence of these modifications, systematically challenge their necessity and ensure with them the feasibility and validity of these modifications.
- Participate in experience sharing activities (OPEX shared with other projects and if coming from other projects, integrated within HPC when possible)
Technical skills required for a Systems Engineer –
- Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909)
- Knowledge of the nuclear field via school curriculum or professional experience.
- Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field.
- Technical documents reviews.
- Experience in radioprotection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation.
