  • Acting as an ambassador of the company and of VINCI Energies group in relationships with customers and other professional organisations.

Profile

As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven background in new business development, ideally in project or services management, to the UK nuclear industry, with experience of short-term and long-term project lead times with the ability to develop, implement and manage strategies for both.

With a background working in a customer facing role to identify and evaluate opportunities and build key relationships for future work for the business, you will also possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to achieve targets and deliver results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive team culture.

Preferably, you will have an engineering background in either Mechanical, Control, Electrical and Instrumentation (CE&I) or Process engineering disciplines so that they understand the technical requirements of the customer’s projects.

The role will be primarily based out of the Actemium Design office, however the Business Development Manager will be expected to travel frequently and visit customer sites as necessary to fulfil their duties. There is also expected to be an element of independent remote working against assigned targeted objectives.
