BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.
Role Description:
- To produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
- Required to assist the Lead Engineer to prepare all design documentation required for the new Pressurised Package Facility glove box installation (system 280) and modification to existing glove box (system 260).
- Required to assist the Lead Engineer to prepare all design documentation for the Containment Vessel Release Tool (CVRT) system(s) relevant to machinery safety.
- This will include but not limited to performing machinery risk assessments, production of performance level assessment(s) and the design package to enable procurement for build and testing.
Profile
- Demonstrable experience delivering against BS 61508.
- Demonstratable experience in delivering systems to machinery safety regulations and BS EN 13849.
- Experience in the design of safety systems and the production of DSJR and SRE Check Sheets.
- Experience in the production of Machinery Risk Assessments.
- Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.
- Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services.
- Competent in the application of CDM Regulation.
- Competent in the application of IET Wiring Regulation.
- Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management.
- Have the ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.
