Description of the assignment
Position – Senior EC&I Engineer (client side 2499)
Location – Hinton House, Warrington
Travel – Required in the office 3 days per week and 2 days remote. Site visits when required

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.
Reporting to the FED Team Engineering leads, the Senior EC&I Engineer will support front end definition work scope in the SFM and Remediation enabling projects portfolio.
Profile
Essential Experience and Qualifications of a Senior EC&I Engineer –
Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of EC&I Engineering work scope to cost, quality and schedule.
Experience in delivering work in a regulated environment
Experience Designing, Specifying and Implementing –
- Electrical Supply Distribution systems to BS7671
- Mechanical Handling Systems and/or Cranes
- Design and specification of EC&I Safety Systems to BS EM 61508
- Experience of front-end definition phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience CE/UKCA marking machines and Machine Safety
- Design of Radiometric and special instruments (e.g. Gamma Monitors, Activity-in-Air and Critically incident Detection Systems)
- Experience Designing Proactive Security Systems (e.g. CCTV, Intruder detection and Access Control Systems
- Design specification of Programmable Electronic Systems (e.g. PES/SCADA)
