Description of the assignment
The FP&A Senior Analyst will provide financial planning, analysis, and insights to support the group’s strategic and operational goals. This role will ensure alignment of financial planning processes across all entities, deliver consolidated financial reporting, and drive performance improvement through data-driven decision-making. The FP&A Senior Analyst will work with finance and operations across our group to support the FP&A efforts in all our regions and ultimately take responsibility for the consolidation of the FP&A products
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Strategic Financial Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across all entities, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Work closely with entity-level finance teams to gather, consolidate, and analyze financial data.
Performance Management
- Design and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at the group level to track and improve financial and operational performance.
- Monitor actual performance versus budget/forecast, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reports for the group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure alignment between management reporting and statutory reporting.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to present financial data effectively to stakeholders.
Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, COO, CFO, Directors of Finance and other members of the leadership team by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Support key business initiatives, such as cost optimization, pricing strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiency.
Process Optimization
- Drive the standardization and automation of financial planning and reporting processes across entities.
- Implement tools and systems to enhance data collection, reporting accuracy, and scenario analysis.
- Ensure consistent application of financial policies, procedures, and controls across all entities.
- Co-lead to the development and implementation of FP&A software and other technology initiatives.
- Lead or support ad hoc projects, such as cashflow management tools, AI initiatives.
Profile
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
Experienced Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably in a group or multi-entity structure.
- Proven track record of managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with financial consolidation and analysis for multiple entities.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in FP&A tools (e.g., Vena Solutions, Prophix, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Soft Skill Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
