Description of the assignment

Position – Site Configuration Co-ordination Service

 

Location – Aztec West, Bristol

 

Travel – 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote

 

Arrangement – Staffed

 

Salary – Up to £60,000 DOE

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.

 

Profile

Description of the expected service-

 

  • Produce a “control site configuration” procedure
  • Produce and/or update Site related Configuration procedures applicable to the client. Configuration procedures can relate for example to design Evolution Notice, Field Change Request. These procedures should reflect the specific arrangements made for the client.
  • Support the Configuration Manager to set-up the site configuration management team.
  • Creation/update of training material and delivery of training sessions
  • Establishment, production and assessment of KPI’s and metrics
  • Production of status accounting reports
  • Production of process self-assessments (to review whether the process is being followed and is efficient)

 

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience of a Site Configuration Co-ordination service –

 

  • Technical integration and/or Configuration Management experience.
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Organisational skills, capability to meet commitments and deadlines
  • Leadership and pro-activeness
  • Communication and interpersonal skills

 

Desirable Qualifications and Experience of a Site Configuration Co-ordination service –

 

  • Experience in the nuclear industry with good understanding of the UK EPR technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of EPR engineering design sequences and interfaces
  • Experience in configuration management and/or site construction activities
