As part of the development of its international activities, VINCI Construction is looking to build a pool of talent and invite Engineers to express their interest in future VIE opportunities as Site Engineer F/M within VINCI Construction CS.

What could you expect as a Site Engineer @VINCI Construction CS? 

As part of VINCI Construction CS project delivery team, you would take an active role in supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality construction of major infrastructure projects. The responsibilities below are shared across both projects, though priorities may vary depending on project stage and focus. 

Your key responsibilities could include:

Project Management

• Support safe planning and site execution
• Develop and manage inspection and test plans
• Perform quality checks and compile documentation
• Ensure correct environmental controls are in place
• Provide setout info and technical input as needed
• Promote a culture of quality and environmental care

Health & Safety

• Apply and uphold HEB’s safety procedures
• Identify hazards and participate in briefings and training
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices and PPE use
• Contribute to incident reporting and investigations
• Support the implementation of temporary safety measures

Financial & Programme Management

• Assist with procurement, cost tracking and invoicing
• Prepare purchase orders and variation claims
• Contribute to contract programmes and tender support
• Perform key commercial support tasks
• Other Missions

As part of your duties as a site engineer, you may be required to work on other projects.

• You’re looking for a role that mixes fieldwork with project coordination, and you’re eager to get hands-on experience in construction.
• You hold a master’s degree in civil engineering or construction and have initial experience in roadworks or civil engineering projects, giving you solid site knowledge that will help you integrate effectively on a technical level.
• You make Health & Safety a priority. You follow the rules and actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.
• You’re comfortable with the fast pace and direct communication of construction sites, and your can-do attitude helps you face challenges head-on.
• You’ve got strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being part of a team. Your curiosity and openness make it easy for you to adapt and integrate quickly.
• You speak fluent English and feel confident communicating in any context: on site, in meetings, or day-to-day, your life would be 100% in English! If you also speak Czech, that would be considered a strong plus.
• You've already had the opportunity to live abroad, and you understand what it means to build a new life in a new place. As such, you're excited about the chance to live and work in Czech Republic, making the most of everything it has to offer.
• You have your driver’s license, and you’re ready to move between sites if needed.
