About the role
Due to business growth and client demand, Actemium Automation Teesside are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our expanding team.
As a Project Manager for Teesside, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of automation projects from conception to completion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of automation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Responsible for Negotiation of pricing work, rework or variations.
- Coordinate resources, including internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors, to achieve project objectives efficiently.
The Person:
- Proven experience managing automation projects in industrial environments, with a strong understanding of automation technologies and systems.
- Ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of industrial hardware systems, including control panel design and control system hardware.
