The ideal candidate will come will several years of QS experience.

Role & Responsibilities
- The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Preparation of contract variations including early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
- Cost estimation and planning, measurement, preparation of BOQs.
- Monitor and report on monthly spending against the package budget.
- Evaluate potential claims from contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare orders and instructions for contractors or suppliers.
- Management of the established additional works processes to identify and capture items over and above the contract’s limit of liability.
- Providing insights, driving profitable growth, and supporting the delivery of the organisation’s long-term goals.
- Providing support to the operations team with regards to contractual requirements, and any related commercial implications of non-performance.
- Maintenance, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and governance to manage commercial risk as well as leading contractual negotiations in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Working closely with the procurement team in the enhancement and onboarding of new suppliers.
- Travel be required to support various other Business units
Profile
THE CANDIDATE:
- Ideally the candidate will have a Bsc in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent.
- Several years experience of delivering cost management building projects from feasibility/option studies through to detailed cost planning and post contract cost management.
- Very good knowledge of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC would be advantageous
- A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.
