Be Part of a Landmark UK Engineering Project

Join us at the forefront of a nationally significant marine infrastructure development—featuring a 463m jetty, advanced modular construction, and specialist marine techniques including piling, structural steel and precast installation, and the innovative Cantitravel system.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the commercial success of this high-profile project, ensuring value, quality, and robust commercial governance throughout every stage.

Profile

What You’ll Be Doing

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Confidently administer NEC3 Option C contracts
  • Prepare and manage Early Warnings, CENs, and key commercial communications
  • Analyse project costs to support timely monthly Applications for Payment
  • Support the resolution of contractual matters and maintain clear documentation

Measurement, Estimating & Procurement

  • Measure and value work independently
  • Build estimates from first principles
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates
  • Assist with procurement documentation and supply chain engagement
     

Project Controls & Planning

  • Work closely with weekly and monthly construction programmes
  • Understand delay and disruption impacts
  • Use ERP systems for cost, value, and project data management
     

Collaboration & Development

  • Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors
  • Maintain your own development plan while supporting junior colleagues
     

What You’ll Bring

  • BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, results-focused mindset
  • Prior commercial experience
  • Broader industry awareness—marine or large-scale infrastructure experience is a plus
