Description of the assignment

As a Junior Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Manage the finance related tasks of several small companies.
Manage suppliers and process vendor invoices.
Prepare purchase orders
Initiate and follow salary and supplier payments.
Identify and compile the cost for the accrual file.
Initiate Client invoicing and Debit notes.
Manage of payroll inputs in the payroll system
Process monthly payroll calculations and payments
Prepare the employees final settlements.
Manage Petty Cash and perform Online Bank Payments.
Post monthly cash entries and prepare bank reconciliations.
Process the IN contracts payments.
Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
Prepare financial analyses and reports.
Process the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Manage the bank and insurance related subjects/tasks.
Assist with annual audit preparations and prepare the financial statements.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
Prepare the VAT and Corporate Tax accruals and returns.
Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
Prepare group monthly/quarterly reporting.
Prepare and declare monthly/ quarterly reportings

Profile

Education: Bachelor's degree ( accounting or finance) 

 

Experience: 5 to 8 years

 

Technical skills:  

 

• Working knowledge of UAE tax laws
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.

 

Software : 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Microsoft Business Central
• Microsoft Business Intelligence
