Description of the assignment

The General Manager reports to the CEO and will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs.  The General Manager has full responsibility of the P&L of the business.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Full responsibility for the Financial results of the organization

·         Manage budgets, provide reporting in coordination with the financial team, and take steps to ensure targets are met or exceeded

·         Develop, implement, and execute a strategic business plan with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology

·         Communicate organization performance and metric reports to Executive Leadership through periodic status reports and presentations

·         Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.

·         Determine staffing requirements based on operational effectiveness and growth potential

·         Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.

·         Ensure that organizational decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision

·         Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met

·         Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.

·         Proactively address and solve any operational issues and risks that arise

·         Identify and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials

·         Maintain knowledge in developing trends and technologies in the industry

Profile

Ability to produce sales and implement marketing strategies.
·         Ability to analyze and evaluate budgets and financial models.

·         Ability to create and present ideas and budgets in a variety of formats.

Ability to develop divisional policies and procedures that are effective and clear.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present comprehensive reports

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:

Experience as a high-level officer
Experience with corporate tax and finance
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
At least ten years of industry experience required
